In 2011 I first discovered it is incredibly rewarding to wrap myself in solitude to create new works. I was in Finland for 5 weeks. The sensation of having your morning coffee and start creating without any distraction is something golden, it should be cherished and it should be repeated on a regular basis. It creates fresh ways of thinking, of making, and it is the absolute missing link for me when I feel sucked up in busy daily schedules. It is an opportunity to dig for deeper layers in my work.

So, after my last residency in Ireland in 2014 I feel it is time. Two residencies are scheduled in 2020/2021:

- 17 March - 31 March 2020: Chateau Orquevaux, France (partial stipend)
- 18 March - 8 April 2021: Cove Park, Schotland

Make sure to follow me on facebook and instagram, as you will be able to see what happens during these art residencies. You can also subscribe to my newsletter to stay informed.
